Hi! We’re Alex and Lottie, co-founders of CoLab Marketers.

We met seven years ago while working at a marketing consultancy in London and clicked pretty much immediately, mostly because we kept having the same conversation on repeat.

We’d both worked with all sorts of businesses, from small brands and not-for-profits to global organisations, but kept coming back to one thing: small, brilliant founder-led businesses weren’t getting the marketing support they deserved.

The ideas were there. The ambition was definitely there. The time to actually do the marketing? Not so much. When you’re busy running a business, marketing has a habit of getting pushed to next week… and then the week after.

So, after plenty of conversations about doing things differently, we decided to stop talking about it and actually do it.

And CoLab Marketers was born!

We created the kind of marketing support we felt small businesses were missing: experienced and strategic, but also hands-on, collaborative, and refreshingly straightforward.

Today, we work alongside founders and small teams to take marketing off their ever-growing to-do lists, figure out what’s actually worth doing, and help make it happen.

Because running a small business is already a big job, your marketing shouldn’t feel like another one.
